At approximately 11:20 this morning the crossing lights and crossing gates were flashing and going up and down. If I was to take a wild guess, or as I surmised heading past at about 75 on the 57 they were testing the crossing protection devices in place.

They were flashing yesterday as well, especially when the roller would shunt the crossing.

Just need some stripes now. There is a size 10 footprint in the sidewalk .... (I do not weigh more than their baby roller .. !)

Apparently even a 25 mph speed limit is too much for a coupe of idiots who turned off the new crossing onto the main lines but had at least enough brain power to exit their vehicle before it was hit by a BNSF train.
