No kidding. The grading west of Kraemer is actually more fascinating to me, just to see what they do with it.
Camera's going tomorrow.

TCS - spare tire cable change-out.

Miracles never cease, actual trackwork at Kraemer.
Right-of-way widening east of Bradford with spoil used to fill in various holes where the shoofly is going to be.
Nobody working on anything RR related at Placentia.

TCS - fits and starts

Wow, I finally see the beginnings if a shofly!

I'm not sure what to make of this sudden flurry of actual work but it's almost impressive ! 11 unit power move to boot.
They've rented one of McKenna's 623s and the "operator" on it hasn't yet run anyone over (not for lack of trying though).
More grading, gravel subbase dumped and level, tamper and regulator on the short bit of the north shoefly track.

TCS - curb drain under the shoefly

ps: watch out for the soft spots

TCS - they cut down my shade tree at Placentia (call a waambulance)

I thought Home Depot is staying there, they just had to temporarily give up some of their parking lot.
