Hey Chris I remember tracing a Centerbeam Lumbercar from the Lumber industry at Brea that was on the UP LOA36R local and the trace told me that the car was headed to BNSF at Lakeland Oregon and I thought it was going to be interchanged with BNSF at Sorensen. So are you saying the BNSF and UP don't do interchange right by Valla Yard?

Jonathan,
They would likely interchange it at West Colton if it came into the LA Basin. The LOA36R would take it to Los Nietos yard...The LOA44 Anaheim hauler would pick it up at Los Nietos and take it to West Colton. BNSF would make the interchange there. That makes a lot of sense. At times I see cars just sitting at Sorensen and I think they are being interchanged with BNSF there.
