Mapboy sent me a message that on Thursday 7-16-09 he saw a BNSF local westbound at 10:15 AM. The train had two units, three covered hoppers and a green BNSF caboose. It could have been returning from the Irvine Industrial Complex (IIC)at Tustin.
Is this a new operation or did the night time local that normally serve the Olive Sub and IIC die on the law at the IIC and this was a patch?:confused! Cliff |

Not sure on the operations stand point, but I heard the San Berdo dispatcher calling the 3rd La Mirada around 3:45 pm on Thursday. Perhaps that is related.
I was in La Habra and not close enough to go investigate considering I could not hear the crew and only the dispatcher. Chris Chris Walker - Forum Owner |
