UP Anaheim Hauler and locals
Does the Anaheim Hauler run daily? What are the times does it normally arrive and depart West Colton and Anaheim? On Fridays does the UPLOA36R switch Cargill? What are the UP symbols of the Marlboro, La Mirada, Costa Mesa, and all of the other locals that work out of Anaheim and La Mirada? What time do they usually depart those yards?

Everything is subject to change.....

Does the Anaheim Hauler run daily? Yes- M-F

What are the times does it normally arrive and depart West Colton and Anaheim? This is two different trains. LOA44 runs from Anaheim to West Colton and usually departs around 8 am from Anaheim and arrives at West Colton around 5 or 6 pm
LOQ25 runs from West Colton to Anaheim and usually departs West Colton around Midnight and arrives in Anaheim around 5 or 6 am.

On Fridays does the UPLOA36R switch Cargill? No only Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What are the UP symbols of the Marlboro, La Mirada, Costa Mesa, and all of the other locals that work out of Anaheim and La Mirada? What time do they usually depart those yards?

Marlboro is LOA31R departs Anaheim around 3 pm on average.
Costa Mesa / Huntington Beach is LOA32 departs around 6 am out of Anaheim. Costa Mesa M-W-F & Huntington Beach T-TH-SA.
Buena Park is LOA39R departs La Mirada around 7 am Mon Through Sat.
Norwalk is LOA38R departs La Mirada around 7 pm Sun- Thur

Crews are all based out of West Anaheim Yard.

There is no La Mirada local for UP.

Power for 38R and 39R are tied down in Buena Park, but get cars from La Mirada.

Chris

It is good to review the operation of these type of trains from time to time and I do not think that annually would be considered too often.

By the way, this afternoon (Sat 7-3-10) I noticed an auto rack on the UP at Anaheim.
