Railroad trestle burning in Anaheim

I'm listening on the radio to OCFA fighting an engulfed "railroad trestle" in the City of Anaheim. This is 11:20pm Friday night.

They said the bridge is a trestle, about 75 feet long over a flood control channel. No tracks on either side. I think it was the Battalion Chief who said it was a Pacific Electric bridge, not used anymore.

Since I missed the exact location, does anybody have a guess?

I'm not sure but where did you find the frequencies for OCFA? I find this place Reading-1 but it just lists the talk group number. And if you could tell me what the frequencies would be for Fullerton FD/PD that would be much appreciated. Big Grin Too bad though that the trestle is burning. Shame

Hmmm.... I dunno if the Santa Ana Riverbed would be considered a flood Control channel, but following an abandoned/torn up ROW through Anaheim and OC in general I found these potential Victims. Any locals want to try and venture around to see which one burned?

Del Amo Blvd (I'm thinking this is too far away from "Anaheim"

Beat Park (My vote for the likeliest victim)

Radio communications for city Police Departments in OC and the OC Sheriff are encrypted and can not be heard be any scanner available to the public. FD communications are still broadcast in Analog. I believe OCFA uses the Motorola Smart Zone Type 2 radios.

Countywide Cell Frequencies for FD:

856.7125 (Control Channel), 857.4625 (Control Channel), 856.9625, 857.2125, 857.7125, 857.9625, 858.2125, 858.4625, 858, 7125, 858.9625, 859.2125, 859.4625, 859.7125, 859.9625, 860.2125, 860.4625, 860.7125, 860.9625.

I found the trestle in Buena Park. It was onlyscorched in the middle of the structure. It is located northeast of the corner Ball and Holder in BP.Photoes to follow. I hope this helps.

Well Ball and Holder is in Cypress according to Googlemaps.

Is this the bridge of discussion?
