May 2005 - Locals Foaming Galore

Digging through my archives and I was surprised to come across images from May 18, 2005 in which I was able to capture 3 UP locals.

Figured the images were worth sharing.

First started out with the Costa Mesa local in Santa Ana shoving west of Susan Street to the LA Times... and then heading back east.

I then headed north west up Beach Blvd where I met the returning Huntington Beach local at Los Alamitos Junction for a few images. here... coming and going.

Then approaching Crone in Anaheim.

Most likely I got lunch and went to sit at Basta along the BNSF to eat.. when the UP Fullerton local showed up to switch out Cargil.

I shot a few from across the BNSF and then waited for them over on the old PE bridge in Sunny Hills. This was actually some of my first image captures of this local way back 4 years ago.

Hope you enjoyed the look back... wish things were the same still.

What an absolutely great twirl around OC branches. I bet back then(in 2005) there was a long blank spell when I was wondering , "is nothing happening down there?" not knowing you were actually quite busy gathering images, just holding back until now--but quite worth the wait.

Hay Chris, nice photoes. The ex-PE bridge over UP is the one shot I haven't been able to get. Do you know about what time UP goes by there?

Between Noon and 4 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays would be my closest guess now.
