Was a good day... since it was not really a weekend for me... though it was for others.

Had a decent amount of trains, lots of sun, a nice breeze and a good turn out.

No images ready for posting yet though.

Word is there are 4 trains scheduled for the pass today.. I am thinking it is time to head home and hit up some rails along the way.

Chris .. from Tehachapi La Quinta Inn at 9:07 am

2. After checking into my hotel room in Tehachapi, I meet up with Brett (F59PHI450), and we headed off to do some late afternoon railfaning and ended up at the loop whare I captured this southbound BNSF stack train heading around the loop. That's all I have for now.

I guess I'll start my share of photos.

We all met up early Saturday morning at the Apple Shed and had breakfast and trains. The restaurant was thankfully right by the tracks with a great view from the patio.

Last picture, we see a BNSF "Quality as Advertised" heading towards Tehachapi and a surprise lurks behind the DPUs. I guess they needed to put him on at the last second.

Thanks for looking! I had a great time. Thanks to all that made this possible!
