You can't, however, you can listen to it on the Radio Feed on http://www.railroadradio.net . Unless of course you have a scanner, you can program in the frequencies into it.

chris_wlkr Wrote:I am chasing it this yearregardless... I like living on the edge and will place my clown nose on the dash of my car (to show I support the circus) and will use my turn signal for every lane change, left turn and right turn while in the city of Anaheim.. and will be staying as far away from some of the IDIOTS that stand ON the tracks when they come out to see the train. I fully expect to add something to my list of evilness this year though.. but I tempt fate more than once a year anyways.

Chris - Almost time to start our updates.

Sure.. come on up, but leave the video camera at home. No time to sit and wait for the whole train to pass when chasing.

I agree.. however it was un-charted territory for us.. better to be early than to miss it completely.

Red train should have arrived in Las Vegas this afternoon.

It was scheduled in at 2 pm.

Can anyone confirm it made it? Nothing has updated since Moapa.

UP 4098 brought it into town.

Does anyone know the date the train will probably head over Tehachapi on its way to Fresno?I know they stay that night in BFD once there, and switch power from UP - BNSF.

Thanks, Alex

* Las Vegas, NV: June 18 - June 21
* Phoenix, AZ: June 24 - June 28
* Fresno, CA: July 1 - July 5

My guess is they will arrive a day early before the first day the shows start. I'm sure someone else mayhave betterdetails than myself.Also, we have a thread that tracks this specific train already:

Don't feel bad about this post at all! It's good to ask questions like these when you come to a new place Wink
