Ontario, CA

Would they use the track between Doubleday Ave & Dupont St. ( at Santa Ana St. ) for storage ?

So, this isn't a very good estiment on all the stops they are going to make right?I don't see any stops on Oregon or Washington.

And, I don't see a show stop at Fresno for me!!! Big Grin

If they were to use the BNSF to get to Ontario, I would place my bet on them shoving the circus train from CP College to Fullerton Jct before heading east. I don't think the north part of the wye at Maple would be able to take a train of that size and weight.

Thanks for the info on the arena. Never heard of it until now.

Alex - There are only a handful of shows posted on the schedule so far. The tour starts tomorrow in Florida, heads up the east coast and then starts across west. There are many gaps to fill in and dozens of show stops to be added.

Fresno is the stop before Los Angeles.

Brett .. yeah, that sounds like a possibility. Only time I have heard of the train being shoved was when they had to shove south from the BNSF to the Cutoff.

I would bet if that was to be the routing, they would pull the train through Fullerton Junction and down passed the station, then run around the train and pull it east.

I am planning on taking the day of departure off from work already. Just do not want to miss whatever they end up doing.

Of course this is the evil train .. so I have to be careful around it.

No, I think Brett's got it right... They'd pull Eastboundoff the branchline onto the Orange Subdivision, as in years past, thenshove West across the diamonds, through LaPalma, and through Fullerton Junction, then pull East again down the San Berdooonce clear of the junction.

The other ways I see of doing it would be to assemble the train with the engines on the West end, shove off the branch and onto the Orange Sub then pull down to Fullerton Junctioneither run the enginesaround at Fullerton and pull east, or pullwest all the waythrough CP West Redondo, shove back onto the UP LA Sub, then pull up the River Sub and Eastout the Alhambra Sub. Possible, but not probable.

BNSF runs through Ontario? Reading-1

The closest main line to the Citizens Business Bank Arena that I know of is UP's Alhambra Sub.

Hi Robert, I think they were just suggesting using BNSF track to Colton area or to Redondo Jct, then moving the rest of the way on the UP..:omg:

And by the looks of the map, the animals will have plenty of open space to do their biz-ness!:runner:
