Well, I've been entertaining the idea of making a day trip to the site with Samantha. She might enjoy chasing Chris' friends around.
 We'll have to leave a little after noon.

With a fund raising event at City of Hope on Sunday, I didn't think I'd be able to make the trip this year, but I'm now happy to say that Bob and I will be there for about 24 hours, starting Friday evening. We will be gathering up all our stuff tomorrow so we can just head out as soon as the work day is over on Friday.
Along with the tent and standard camping stuff, we will be bringing Marissa for over-the-air ATCS coverage and four of the walkie talkie gizmos for remote ATCS updates. I'll also bring the fall foliage garland. We'll also see what what we can get at the party store tomorrow for the table. Brett has the three important strands of lights for the hut with him already. When we leave Saturday evening, we can leave the hut decorations in place. Also, I can leave Marissa with Jeff, Brett, or Chris, if anyone wants ATCS on Sunday. |

I'll be heading for Frost as soon as L.A. traffic dies off this morning. I already have the Starbucks stores between Burbank and the park loaded into my GPS.

I will grab some in town on the way. There is a red flag warning in affect until 6 pm tonight due to wind and low humidity in the mountains and valleys.

Hi all... just to give you a heads up I will be getting a late start this year, as I have to swing by and pick up Scott from work this afternoon, we should be leaving El Segundo at around 3:10 P.M. or so ... then comes taht long drive out there through all of that heavy Friday afternoon traffic... UH ! i'm not looking forward to that part,but that's the way it goes, I will be takeing a diffrent route getting out there this year, don't know if it wil get me out there any quicker, but anything is better than sitting in traffic on the 91 (at least I hope it is), anyway that's it for now, everybody please drive safeley going out there, and we'll see you all out there.

Hitting the road in about 10 mins. Shutting down the computer. Will be out of town and away from internet until sometime Sunday.
