The Fullerton Foamers & Foto Society will be hitting the rails again as we ride the Metrolink cabcars from Fullerton to San Bernardino via LAUS on Saturday July 19th. This event coincides with a belated birthday celebration for a certain WCRF.com administrator... At least one family will be joining us, so this is a kid friendly event. But, as the schedule shows, it is a bit on the long side for those with young'ins. Kids are welcome, but realize it will be a long day...

Feel free to join us by picking-up at your local stop along the route...

Some have considered going on foot at San Berdoo or at LAUS on the return leg. I have an interest in wandering around LAUS and the downtown area, but I am undecided at this point. Maybe some will join me and sway my decision for a walk-about. Additionally, others have considered traveling further south in the air condtioned splendor of a Metrolink cabcar, returning later in the afternoon to the heat and discomfort of the Fullerton platform.

I suppose I will show up. Wink

Interested in joining the foot jaunt out of LA Union for some rail or non-rail related imagery ops. Certainly lots to see around there that I usually drive by in my speedy automobile.

My wife and daughter will ride along with us from Fullerton to San Berdoo. They will depart from the group on the return trip from San Berdoo to LAUS at Montclair and catch a bus back to our home. With this plan, I am up for walking around LAUS to see what we can find.

I think I will stay on for the extra miles south. The idea of loafing on board Metrolink has great appeal at the moment.

Sorry I couldnt make it. I am on call this week so I can't stray far from work unless I can make an easy mad-dash back.

BTW, Shane and his mom live in Wyoming now. He intends to get internet service as soon as he gets enough money set aside.

My photos are going to bounce around, no intended order or importance to be inferred.

Starting off with a secured copy of the recent 3751 excursion to San Diego featuring the cover photography of attendee Ken Szok. We found this inside the San Bernardino station, at a counter in the main lobby. I searched for an open door into the building's restored interior, as I knewthat the security guard's rear section could not be pried out of the lawn mower powered golf cart he was driving about the grounds.
