It looks like the power on the circus train has changed...unless the circus train is going to Mira Loma... (doubt it)

The trace shows the UP4785 through Gila,AZ at 6:48PM MT, due into Mira Loma,CA tomorrow at 11:18AM.

Should that engine be staying with it till Fresno C.A. ? I hope to catch it in Fresno. I will be on the UP line waiting.

Please reply if its plans change before then. Thankyou.

Also, anyone know what the time and date into Fresno it will be. I am thinking on the 7th??? Time unknown.

I think that they will depart Tuscon on the 7th. Their last show is Sunday evening. Then they break down and pack for a Monday morning departure.

They have until the 9th to be set up for the first show, so I would think either late on the 7th or early on the 8th.

Either is possible considering the train is navigating both Cajon Pass and Tehachapi Pass on the trip up.

Of course there is usally speculation that the train will operate on the Arizona and California line and then catch the BNSF at Cadiz and take the BNSF Needles Sub into Barstow thus bypassing Cajon Pass.

But I am not one to start rumors. Wink

No, the 4785 is in Mira Loma.

I'm not sure what the new power is, so I won't be able to trace it when it departs Tucson.

How about the last year? did they take Cajon or Palmdale cut off and went through Tehachapi?

Yea, I remember that the circus train was the reason I joined this forums. Smile Thanks to you Chris for all heads up about the train that I was able to see the circus train & Animal walk. I'm hoping to see that train is running and try to film it this time around.
