UP 1995 (Chicago & Northwestern Heritage Painted Engine)

Hey Railfans in the Stockton area. Has anybody seen UP 1995 in the Stockton yard? Is it in the shop being worked on or is it sitting in the yard somewhere where it can been seen.. photographed?

I'm thinking about taking a very long drive up to that area tomorrow and am wondering if I should attempt to get some pictures of UP 1995.

I've never seen the Stockton Yard so I'm not sure what to expect.

Where it was it isn't viewable at all, but I'm sure it's been moved since I saw it this morning. It was sitting outside of the 'roundhouse'. It's been repaired and is looking good.

The Stockton yard isn't very accessible, and you must trespass to see much of the yard. South Union Street parallels the north part of the yard, and on the south side, South El Dorado runs near the tracks as well.

I had almost as much fun following the tracks using the link you sent than I have driving all over the place looking for a special train.

It is running on the KG3LB 08 to ICTF

Why does your trace say it is only going to City of Industry? Is the 1995 getting cut out of the consist to stay at COFI for computer work?

I think the 1995 is going to be set out at Industry, then the KG3LB will continue to ICTF.

Thanks for the updates. I was able to catchUP 1995 as it went thru Yuma.

UPDATE:

It left Yuma at 11am MT after a crew change. It is the 3rd unit in the consist running elephant style behind UP 8521, UP 8324, UP 1995.
