I think that might make it either possible or impossible considering the work window only affects one train.

Thanks Robert.

Any of our Nevadafans catch the train departing or being assembled?

I plan on catching it on it's run Fresno to LA from LA to Anaheim, then departing from Anaheim to San Diego.

Anyone else planning chasing anywhere?

Does anyone know what the routing around the Colton area will be for this Circus train???
I presume that the only way for this train to make a left turn at Colton will be for it operate down Cajon on the SP line from the Silverwood X Over.
Thank you for anything additional!

He's going via Colton by way of the Palmdale Cutoff. As of 3:30pm, the Circus Train was in the siding at Canyon.

We headed up to the pass at about 2pm, to catch it. UP4264 was actually leading(UP9100 was the rear unit). It went into the hole at Canyon at 325pm, and left Canyon siding at 425pm. It arrived at the BNSF/UP Interlocker at Colton at 530, got a crew change and was back on the move at 620pm. The "Circus train master" asked the engineer what time they would be at Niland(120 miles East of Colton) for a crew change or something.
I'll post some shots later.

Thanks,
---Robert
Chris, you might be able to catch it before Yuma, after work.Tongue
