Annual Cajon Pilgrimage 2010 - November 27th
Sorry for the short notice on this one. Been up in the air on attendance and posting but none the less.. here it goes.

Saturday November 27th will be the day for the Annual Pilgrimage to Cajon -- 2010.

We will meet atop of Pilgram Hill (unoffical forest name - but offical to all who know if it). Directions are presented below.

Arrive when you want, leave when you want. Most arrive before or shortly after sunrise and leave after Amtrak's SW Cheif passes on it's way to Barstow.

So if your just to fed up to participate in American Express' stupid official "Small Business Saturday".. feel free to join us on the hill with the wild turkies and pilgrims.

Quote:Directions: Exit I-15 at SR-138 (Cajon Junction or the Wrightwood Cutoff) and head east towards Cajon Summit (or Silverwood Lake). Powerline Road is an unmarked Forest Service road that runs north and south about 2.5 to 3 miles from Cajon Junction. Like the name infers, the road follows the powerlines north to the tracks. Powerline Road is NOT the first dirt road with the white fence posts, yes the powerlines are above you at this spot, but continue up towards Summit and make a left at the next powerline crossing. Follow the well graded road to the tracks. Before the first grade crossing, turn left and look up on the knoll on your left.

Feel free to post any questions in the thread.

Looking forward to Saturday as it has been ages since I visited the pass and 2 years since I made a Pilgrimage.

Chris.

PS - Dont forget your chair, and if anyone has an EZ-UP they can bring, it would probably be helpful as well.
