RE: Where is it?
My first guess is Ventura, but thats pretty much a shot in the dark. The hill in the distance makes me question it...

RE: Where is it?
The train in the photo will travel through Oxnard, Ventura and Taylor Yard. But, Where it is in the photo is none of these.....

RE: Where is it?
Beautiful Oxnard by the sea ( well kind of close to the sea)
It was once a busy terminal with several locals working out of it. Cliff (07-09-2011 07:44 AM)SLOCONDR Wrote:(07-08-2011 07:53 PM)USAF_Andrew Wrote: My first guess is Ventura, but thats pretty much a shot in the dark. The hill in the distance makes me question it... |

RE: Where is it?
It is a good thing that I didn't have to read Trainorders, I miss read that it was not Oxnard in a clue. Perhaps is is Guadalupe.

And perhaps you are correct Cliff. It is indeed GDLP. I worked the night job, the day job and the afternoon hauler to Surf and Lompoc fo the better part of 9 years mid 70's to mid 80's. This particular freight was going through GDLP in April of 1982. AND, you will not be allowed to play anymore Cliff. You just know too much! LOL........ V SLOCONDR V SLOCONDR |
