Egad, that was quick. You are both right. Taken through the front window of my Mom's PT Cruiser. We were on the way home from Oakland. I give a big thanks to my sister for remembering the bridge on the way to Oakland, I was too busy taking pictures of windmills to see it.

This is the best side, the other is missing most of it's lettering and the WB side of the highway doesn't have an arch.

It is really rather easy:

(1) Your in a car - see rear view mirror.

(2) Your in former WP territory.

(3) The bridge still says WP.

(4) The bridge has those concrete spans and arches.

Answer: On I-80 heading through Altimont Pass.

Apparently TC can one up me because he can tell you which direction you are heading.
