Where is it?
An abandoned spur track somewhere in Los Angeles county:

A followup photo clue will come, in time.

RE: Where is it?
I want to say somewhere around Rosecrans Blvd. and Carmenita Rd.
Probably wrong, but it looks like the right area.

RE: Where is it?
I'm stumped....I'll take one final guess of somewhere by the beach since there's no towers or tall buildings or power lines farther out in the picture.

RE: Where is it?
It's off of the Harbor Sub directly east of LAX. What the spur was named and what (aeronautics) industry(s) it served is beyond me though. Long severed from active use. The Westin LAX in the background was the kicker...

RE: Where is it?
There is an LA Public Works yard and an electrical substation off there too.

RE: Where is it?
We have a winner - congratulations MrMRL! I knew the hotel would be familiar to some ....

Dating back to at least 1940, the adjacent LAX and El Segundo areas used to be covered with single story, small warehouses served by many spurs. When I worked for Huge Aircrash long ago very few were still used (but the old buildings were). Redevelopment has pretty much taken all of them out of service.
