I'm glad we have some more things to export to China aside from empty containers, scrap metal, lumber, etc. It would be even better if we could export a lot more.

Well, I figured maybe they'd send loaded containers from the midwest to Chicago...though I'm quite ignorant on most rails outside of Southern California!

Geography time: Chicargo is East of the Midwest, Containers going West would have no reason to go East to then go West. There are numerous container loading points West of Chicago.

Makes sense. I just see lots of singlestack side by side 20's on BNSF trains out here amongst typical double stacks

I guess my question is: where would grain-filled containers be coming from? All over or are they concentrated anywhere?
