Trains on Thanksgiving Morning in 2011
This is my usual Thanksgiving morning with Union Pacific & Amtrak trains. There was something missing from Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train #799 this year.

1) Here's Union Pacific Railroad, the coast "Oil Cans" train at Main street bridge, heading to Dolores, Long Beach, California.

2) Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train #799 at Main street bridge.

3) Union Pacific 5417 "ZLCAI" departed LATC at 9AM, caught it at Boca street grade crossing in Los Angeles, California.

4) The east bound Union Pacific 7387 double stack container/intermodal train at CP East Redondo in Los Angeles, California.

Thanks for watching & Happy Holidays!

Psst: my Mom won't read this but she gets upset when people spell her name wrong: Dolores (same as the RR location).

TCS - not Del Rio

Yea, almost every Thanksgiving weekend, we get that one and only Amtrak's great dome on the 799/798 set but sadly no more. Sad
