Good DS!? Haha!!! Very rarely is a car abandoned on the track. The term is used quite commonly. To the railroad this means people were not in the car. Not that the car was dumped and left on the track for a long period of time. Most of the time the passengers escaped just in time to avoid being hit, thus abandoning their car
