Got this in my E-mail box from Rod ....
Through the gracious donation by Union Pacific Railroad, The Western Pacific Railroad Museum has aquired the last switch engine purchased by the WP. The UPY1042 (WP1503) arrived Portola this morning. This is a operational locomotive that will be repainted into its original Pearlman Green paint as soon as funds are available. This is a significant addition to our collection of WP locomotives. We now have the first and last diesel switchers that belonged to the WP. I hope to have pictures of it to post in the next few days.
