What is a corner's van? Might want to review prior to posting.

SP Best to stay away from these incidents and let the police do their investigation and not get in their way.

I was shooting from inside a house and on a public sidewalk at a slanted angle, far enough from the investigation.

The police left before I could get outside,so it was only Hazmat and Metrolink once I was able to get closer to the scene (house alarm was on;didn't know code).

Either way,I was never bothered.

I get it,no need to tick me off and give me a vocab check to make sure I'm perfect.

RE: Pedestrian struck in Orange
I understand that you were far away from the investigation. But why would you want to take pictures of stuff that is very disturbing to look at even away from the investigation and not to mention about the possibility of seeing the disgusting stuff the corners didn't get to yet even if you came closer to the incident.

SP What's the point of that?

Nocomment whatsoever.
I've never been to something so close to this,so I documented it.

My dad,who was at work, even wanted me to take pics of the commotion.

God someone close this thread,I'm getting really irritated and all that's happening is me getting criticized.

RE: Pedestrian struck in Orange
The part you were wrong where we are criticizing you is how you came on in the thread.

SP Take this as a learning experience.

People, just admit it, if you saw something like this you would probably take pictures too. People took videos of the towers burning on 9/11. The video of the girl getting hit by Metra has been viewed millions of times. Think about the photograph of the firefighter holding the dying baby in his arms after the OKC bombing. You don't want to look but you just can't look away.

RE: Pedestrian struck in Orange
And what lesson did he learn? We as a society are ammused at other peoples faults and bad decision-making, hence the rapid growth of reality shows where peoples low points of their lives are followed intently. We gawk at traffic accidents to see how bad it was. We get a thrill out of seeing someone brutaly beat in mixed martial arts. We are a gluton for pain, but not that of our own.

This accident happened so close to him that it felt a little personal. He will never see that strech of tracks the same again. He was trying to report on the incident but at the same time had his adrenoline running. I'm sure he didn't want to take photos of all the gore and guts, there are more than enough places on the web to satisy even the thirst of most sadomasocists.

Or maybe he thought it was SCAX1 and wanted to take a closer look to be sure.

It wasn't me.
