Interesting evening at Fullertoon
PRLX 3002 on an EB WATBAR with a bunch of power, late Surfliner SB with 1 F-59 on the front, 6 cars, another F-59 (DIC) and two P-42s pushing a little after 9:30pm.
TCS - pleasant weather |

The 2 P42's are no doubt for the FRA car movement tomorrow. Did you catch the #'s? MSA - a CoasterFan |

RE: Interesting evening at Fullertoon
133 and 19 {also they were back-to-back}... maybe, I had nothing to write with and the conversation turned back to topic after the train left (a little slow at first but then the GE's kicked in and they were off to the races).
TCS - wondering how a P-42 would look in Smurfliner paint |

RE: Interesting evening at Fullertoon
Tc, it couldn'tve been 19 unless 564 switched power in sd. 19 was on 573 this morning

RE: Interesting evening at Fullertoon
Keyword: "maybe". Whichever two were back-to-back in Sandy Eggo this am were what I saw.
TCS - was actually more surprised to see other stuff |

AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH - I went down to the Harbor yesterday looking for PRLX 3002... I looked everywhere BUT Watson. I drove by Watson, and looked in the south throat, but then gave up. I'll bet that sucker was sitting on tie up track in the wye.

RE: Interesting evening at Fullertoon
I saw 7710 leading a string of 7700s with ethanol cars behind them, and I saw a very, very long string of more 7700s, with 7700 facing backwards.
I feel like I would have noticed the yellow, but then again, maybe I just missed it. Still, if I were a betting man, I would say that they had it up on the tie down track. Would have taken me all of two minutes to drive over there and look... but I didn't bother. |
