Like that little GE in the above photo,is the USAF still using those guys?...Also BTW,I should mention the BNSF 4719, just got out of Bend ,south bound for Barstow,this is for the those who like the Red & Silver..The very last of the 4700 Series Dash-9's ,painted as such...D/OT

Yes, they are still running them, but I am told that their time is coming to an end fairly soon. They are trying to get a Geep or a Genset as a replacement. We rode the train shortly after that.
USAF - Doesn't care that SP doesn't like 'em, I think they are cool. Doesn't hurt that CSX and NS don't run them near me, so I really don't see them that often... |

I think they are cool to,if only Uncle Sam, could use his money as wisely as he has, for the use he's gotten out of them....Great shot of you and Junior BTW....D/OT
