RE: PHL 65 SOUTHBOUND
No, 7463 is leading the SB, 4723 is NB.

3005 is also reportedly either going or has gone there too.

TCS - PHL 41 & 42

RE: PHL 65 SOUTHBOUND
3005 was working the Yang Ming turn on Tuesday... but yes, I hear it will go next.

I suspect they will go one at a time, so that the six axle gensets don't have to get pulled back into service... but this is just pure railfan BS speculation, so don't rely on it.

They could fire up the tunnel motors .....
Or keep using the UP SD-60.

Love the idea... but not totally clear on what the legal ramifications of those two units is... would getting them running again break the agreement to buy all the low emission units?

Have no idea... just curious.

RE: PHL 65 SOUTHBOUND
As far as simply firing them up, probably would get them some flak if they used them more than a day or two (and someone reported it).
Ship 'em up to Tacoma too ...

TCS - zebra motors ? tunnel zebras ?
