Red&Silver BNSF 701,Just departed Bend,Or southbound,on a VAW/BAR,It came north, the day before yesterday,carrying this crazy car,i'm almost sure Lionel, had something to do with the design....Photo courtesy of my friend George,at Celilo OR,I think these cars are quite rare...701, should be down So.Cal,way tomorrow....D/OT

Haliburton powdered cement car, all-welded construction. Usually see them north of Saco (alto-Bakersfield) on the former SP, now UP line.


TCS - and under the wrong circumstances the contents can shatter steel piping like glass.
