UP West Colton observations
Last evening we saw the Herzog M-O-W trains parked in the grain mill spur in Fontucky, UPY 2005 on a westbound hauler leaving the yard, and a TLM with a full string of concrete tie cars (facing east) in the arrival yard. Noticed the line of stored power in the departure yard is growing longer.
Going back next week to see if one of those rigs at old Colton is mine.

Also rebuilding receiving tracks with concrete ties. Yard wasn't taking anything as they were at capacity.

Once the Colton work is done, will the MRVEP still be running? I remember seeing that that train was running due to WC congestion.

What are all the inbound trains doing now? Tying down somewhere?

Was dirt train still there? When I left the jobsite Friday afternoon, it was still west of the yard. Sounded like it was in everybody's way.
Pic of the going ons.
