HEADS UP !!
11:31AM 2-4-12
UP DS 54 just reported POSSIBLE POWER LINES BLOCKING the
mainline (Across the tracks) between PALMDALE and DENNIS MP 412 area.
UP DS 54 has sent a maintaner out to CHECK on this report.

I do HOPE that Amtrak Train 14 is able to PASS
the Palmdale area and proceed to Tehachapi for the Detour.

UP DS 54 has now taken a report
saying that there is NOTHING to block ANY MAIN Tracks
between these milepost limits :
413.74 --412.80
PALMDALE AVE to SIERRA HIGHWAY

This is very very GOOD news for the AMTRAK train 14 Detour train today.
I just hope that this problem is solved and
that the railroad is REALLY CLEAR the ENTIRE WAY to BAKERSFIELD.
