Early Morning Trainspotting(4/21/12)

Early morning is always good for spotting trains in L.A. I started with the coast "cans" at Olympic Bl bridge, and Amtrak #3 was running on time and then KG1LA.

I did not see her last night and here she is from the Redondo Turntable, heading to the 8th street yard.

Ohhhh, I Think i Spotted someone using a Cell Phone on the Job.

Looks like there is a Milwaukee PV present as well in photo 6 that didn't partake in the events.

The Milwakee was coupled to the front of 509,which was coupled to the front of 503 yesterday morning in the same place after 3751 was in the station.

It was a strange looking consist.

It took 582 down to San Diego yesterday, and came back today on 583.

Very nice series Snuffy. UP 7459 was leading the ZLTLA-20, I shot it on the 20th at Ansel (just above Rosamond) on the Mojave Subdivision. I believe I heard it was to be routed via the Colton cutoff and Alhambra sub which explains its late arrival into LA.
