25 car Amtrak on Surfline?

I heard from a friend that there was a special train with 23 amfleets, 2 private, Amtrak 507 and Amtrak 450 going southbound to San Diego. Can anybody corroborate and, if so, why the long train?

I saw a video that had a P42 leading with a P32-8 trailing. It was pulling at least 13 cars or so,one PV,and the rest Heritage Diner,Dome,and a few Horizon and Amfleets. It is the Dallas Cowboys Special.
