UP 2278 working the Anaheim Hauler back when the train departed Anaheim for West Colton around 10 pm.

Seen here at Valley View as they picked up cars from the LaMirada Storage track.

Good to see the images of local operations in Orange County. The good old days when Weber Plywood always had boxcars spotted there. Today Weber (or is it Webber ?) is still in business there, but does not get any boxcars. It seems that much of the lumber loads in boxcars has been lost. The lumber company on Santa Ana Street in Anaheim stopped getting boxcars of lumber sometime ago.

Thanks for noticing Cliff.

Yes, that was one of two times I got images of the switching. Several other times they would stop there and check with the manager and were told they were not done with the cars yet.

And it is Weber with one B.

I remember seeing empty and loaded cars outside the lumber company on Santa Ana but never caught the cars being switched.
